Spring has finally arrived and at several bus shelters around the Metro Transit system, you’ll see colorful art displays popping up over the next two months. Feel the joy and surprise!
The art boxes installed at bus shelters use familiar materials used in a unique way. Look for colorful overlays through which you can view the art. Share your experience with the art on social media at #TransitJoy.
The public art project is a collaboration between Metro Transit’s Creative Services and Marketing departments and local artists Jan Elftmann and Amanda Lovelee.
