Cedar Riverside Public Art

Each station along the METRO Blue Line not only has public art but each architectural design team included an artist.

This station was designed by Julie Snow Architects
Thomas Rose, architectural design team artist

The transparent canopy is etched with images of the constellations.  A decorative steel fence weaves along the platform and incorporates a whimsical architectural skyline.

Sight Points- Minneapolis, Mogadishu, Oslo, Saigon by Thomas Rose

Forty glass panels in the canopy of the station with four different designs of star constellations. The four designs depict the same constellations but seen from the four different cities referenced in the title.
