Help us help you by sharing your feedback at upcoming listening sessions

As Metro Transit’s general manager, I find it invaluable to have direct experience riding our system and to regularly hear from customers, community members, and transit workers.

That’s why I ride transit as often as I can (more than 750 rides so far in 2025!) and why we are continuing the practice of hosting listening sessions where you can share your feedback directly with me and other Metro Transit leaders.

Our next round of listening sessions will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the Lake Street/Midtown Station. We’ll also be visiting Sun Ray, Union Depot, Snelling Avenue, and Mall of America this month.

We will follow up on these sessions later this fall with a series of community meetings, including events at the Minneapolis American Indian Center and the Highland Park Library.

Along with data and Customer Relations feedback, the conversations I have with you, our riders, play an important role in helping me understand how well we’re delivering on our promise of providing safe, clean, reliable, and convenient service.

While I’m eager to hear from you, I want to acknowledge that we have more work to do to provide a consistently high-quality experience.

We continue to take steps to improve the customer experience, including increased investment in official presence, cleaning and repair, and expanded bus and light rail service.

At these upcoming sessions, I hope to see you at one of these upcoming sessions so I can answer questions and learn more about your experience. In the meantime, thank you for continuing to share your questions, comments and concerns.
