What is the METRO A Line?
The METRO A Line is part of a growing network of bus rapid transit (BRT) lines that deliver a faster trip and an improved transit experience. Buses operate every 10 minutes most of the day, with faster service than most local buses and enhanced stations. The A Line connects with the METRO Blue Line at 46th Street Station and the METRO Green Line at Snelling & University Station.

On the A Line, you pay your fare before you get on – just like light rail – so you can board through any door, and buses keep moving more of the time.
A Line stations feature amenities, like NexTrip real-time departure information signs, push-button heaters, security cameras, emergency phones and trash and recycling bins.
