On Dec. 6, Route 827 will begin service!
Route 827 will replace Route 852 and expand service south of Hwy. 694 along East River Rd. in Fridley and along Marshall St. in northeast Minneapolis, connecting the cities of Anoka, Coon Rapids, Blaine, Fridley, and Minneapolis. Customers can expect more reliable service and improved accessibility to key destinations throughout the north metro, including:
- Anoka County Technical College
- Mercy Hospital-Coon Rapids campus
- Anoka-Ramsey Community College
- Northtown Transit Center
- Foley Park & Ride
- Fridley Station Park & Ride
- Northern Stacks Business Park

Route 827 connects with several popular routes at Northtown Transit Center, such as routes 10, 25, 805, 824, 860, and Metro micro: Blaine area zone. It also connects with key crosstown routes in northeast Minneapolis – routes 30 and 32 – improving your access to and within downtown Minneapolis.
NOTE: As part of this new service, trips between Northtown Transit Center and downtown Minneapolis may take up to 15 –20 minutes longer. For riders interested in direct express trips to downtown Minneapolis from the northern suburbs, Route 850 offers alternate service from Foley Park & Ride.
Buses will run every hour and service will be available:
- Weekdays: 5 a.m. - 10 p.m. (Trips will run every 30 minutes south of Foley Park & Ride from 6-9 a.m. and from 3-6 p.m.)
- Saturdays: 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.
There will be no service on Sundays.
