General Manager Lesley Kandaras is a regular transit user. But to get an even closer look at our transit system, she resolved to ride every Metro Transit operated and branded route during her first year on the job. This mission began with a trip on the METRO A Line and was completed on July 23, 2024, with rides on the METRO Blue and Green lines.
During each trip, Lesley spoke with operators and riders about why they value transit and what we could do to make their experience better. Thank you to everyone who shared their story!
Lesley will continue riding, and has asked senior leaders across the organization to do the same.
