Hate is Not Allowed

Hate doesn’t get a seat on Metro Transit.

Metro Transit employees and our customers come from diverse backgrounds and represent all races, nationalities, genders, religions, and other dimensions of being human.

We understand our community is hurting, whether from pandemic-related discrimination against Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders; the weight of the recent police killings and related trial and civil unrest; or the ongoing issues of gender-based or sexual harassment.

We all deserve to feel safe.

If you experience or witness hate, discrimination, or harassment while waiting for or while riding one of our buses or trains, there are several ways to report it:

If it's an emergency and it's safe to do so, call 9-1-1.

We document these calls and complaints and use the information to identify trends or locations that need attention. Criminal activity will be reported to Metro Transit Police.
