NexTrip information for downtown Minneapolis stations to be offline until November

Part of the major downtown light-rail work that began June 1 and continues through 2017 is the replacing of communications and train tracking equipment in downtown Minneapolis.

As a result, the downtown stations – Target Field, Warehouse/Hennepin Avenue, Nicollet Avenue, Government Plaza, and U.S. Bank Stadium – won’t have NexTrip real-time arrival times available until the work is complete sometime in November 2017.

What customers can expect:

-          The advertising screens at stations will show scheduled times instead of real-time predictions.

-          The LED signs on stations will not show times.

-          Website, NexTrip text messages and apps will show scheduled times instead of real-time predictions.

NexTrip will continue to work normally and show real-time information for all other stations on the Blue and Green Lines during this time period.

Thank you for riding with us and we appreciate your patience as we care for your system!
