Replacement bus service on the METRO Blue and Green Lines
NOTE: Buses will replace Blue Line trains Oct. 28-31 during a partial shutdown on the METRO Blue Line to allow for scheduled maintenance.
From 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28 until 4:00 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, buses will replace Blue Line trains from Mall of America to Terminal 2 - Humphrey stations.
During the disruption, customers can board replacement buses near each affected station. See maps below.
When rail maintenance, construction or other disruptions prevent light rail trains from operating, buses are used to replace rail service. Buses run on similar schedules as trains but can take more time. Customers are urged to plan accordingly. The below maps show where to board replacement buses on the Blue and Green lines.
Customers can receive additional information by calling 612-373-3333. When an unscheduled disruption occurs, real-time information is posted on Metro Transit's Twitter and Facebook accounts. Customers may also sign up to receive alerts by text and e-mail using My Metro Transit.
