Description: In the heart of Midtown, the Chicago Lake Transit Center connects customers to destinations in Minneapolis and St. Paul. The facility features two indoor waiting areas and is adjacent to the Midtown Exchange/Midtown Global Market.
Hours of operation: 24 hours a day. Indoor waiting area is open from
5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Features: Indoor waiting areas are climate-controlled to make waiting more comfortable. HOURCAR public car sharing hub and Nice Ride public bike sharing stations located nearby. No public restroom.
Public Art Installation: “On the Move’ by artist Ta-Coumba Aiken features ceramic wall friezes, representing the movement and spirit of the people using the center.
Safety and security: The facility is well-lit with LED lights and equipped with security cameras.
Bicycle and pedestrian connection: Midtown Greenway. Freewheel Midtown Bike Center, located across the Midtown Greenway from the Midtown Exchange, offers bike repair and a practice bike rack.
