Auto Refill automatically adds value from a credit card to your Go-To Card or pass. You decide how much to add and when, and make sure to use your card or pass at least once every 30 days. Set it and forget it!

It's easy! Follow these simple steps.
- Create an account or if you already have an account, sign in.
- While signed in, click the button in the upper right and click Enroll in Auto Refill on the right side of the page. (If you manage cards for an employer or organization, you can access the link through My Fare Card List.)
- Complete the enrollment page and click Submit. You'll need your card's 16-digit serial number and payment information. Select the value you want added to your card and when that value should be added. Note: you cannot add a 7-Day Pass or 10 Rides (valid for a $2.25 fare) through Auto Refill.
How it works
Set it and forget it! Once you've enrolled, Auto Refill will continue unless you make changes or cancel your enrollment.
There are no refunds once value has been added so you will receive a reminder email when the card's value gets low. At this time, please check that the payment information and the value set to be added to the card is correct.
To edit the payment information or cancel enrollment, click the link within the email or sign in to your metrotransit.org account and select Edit/Cancel Auto Refill. If you don't make any changes, the payment on file will be processed and the amount you specified will be added to your Go-To Card or pass.
Frequently Asked Questions
My card is enrolled in Auto Refill, but I received a message stating it could not be processed.
This is usually because A) a Go-To Card or pass has been deactivated, B) the payment information we have is not valid or C) the card has not been used recently (cards or passes enrolled in Auto Refill must be used at least once every 30 days to remain active). To resume Auto Refill, you'll need to re-enroll.
Less likely is that the card or pass is near the end of its 10-year lifespan. If your card is nearing this point, contact us or your pass administrator for a new card.
Can I enroll in Auto Refill without a metrotransit.org account?
No, an account is required for enrollment in this feature.
It says the card is already enrolled, but I didn't enroll the card in Auto Refill. Why did I receive this message?
A third party such as an employer or non-profit organization may have enrolled the card in Auto Refill before you received it. Only one Auto Refill enrollment is allowed per card. If needed, you should add value here, by phone (612-373-3333), at a rail ticket machine or at a Go-To Card retail outlet.
