Draft Corridor Plan engagement
Between March and May 2026, Metro Transit released the Draft Corridor Plan and initiated a six-week public comment period. During this time, Metro Transit sought feedback from the public and agency partners regarding the proposed station and platform locations. This feedback was summarized and incorporated into the Recommended Corridor Plan.
Project staff engaged riders, community members, public agency partners, and the public through a variety of means (i.e. onboard bus engagement, community events, pop-ups, door-knocking, etc.) to gather feedback on the Plan and learn from their experiences.
Below is a snapshot of strategies used during the six-week comment period by Metro Transit:
Provided translation of vital documents in English, Spanish, Somali, Oromo, Hmong, Vietnamese, and Karen.
Mailed a project postcard to 61,344 homes, businesses, and those who own property within one-half mile of the H Line
Posted signs at 80 Route 3, Route 54, Route 64, and Route 80 bus stops
Door-knocked 300+ proposed station neighbors including but not limited to businesses and residents close to a proposed H Line station location.
Engaged 1,131 people at 56 events, meetings, and pop-ups hosted by community organizations, neighborhood groups, and Metro Transit.
Metro Transit received over 1,100 comments on the Draft Corridor Plan.
