Metro Transit Bike & Ride facility 

Our Bike & Ride facility allows you to park your bike in a secure, enclosed structure with controlled access. 

How to Bike & Ride

  • Register with your Go-To Card, Metropass, Universal Pass, or College Pass.


    • NOTE: University of Minnesota U Cards currently do not give you access to the Bike & Ride. We are working to resolve this issue. Please register for the Bike & Ride using a Go-To Card. Learn about getting a Go-To Card.

  • Within two business days of submitting your application you will receive an email from [email protected] confirming your Bike & Ride access. After that, simply tap your card at the door to enter the facility.


  • Secure your bike with your own lock at any available rack.

Current location

Second floor of Ramp B (516 2nd Ave. N., Minneapolis)

Biking directions:

  • Access Target Field Plaza from the pedestrian walkway at the corner of N. 1st Ave. and N. 6th St.

  • Look for the gray and red sign pointing toward Target Field outside the entrance to Target Center.

  • Proceed ahead ~500 feet to a set of glass doors to Ramp B on your right.

  • The Bike & Ride is right inside those doors.

Alternatively, you can enter Ramp B from ground level on 2nd Ave. N. and take the escalator to the second floor. The Bike & Ride will be straight ahead through a set of glass doors at the top of the escalator.
