The Student Pass program is a transit pass available to St. Paul Public Schools high school students. The pass allows for unlimited rides on city buses and light rail between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. seven days a week.

To find your closest transit stops and schedules, use the online Trip Planner or the Metro Transit app and enter your home address and name of your school. Search the schedule for a weekday arrival time at least 15-30 minutes before the start of the school day. School staff will help students get to and from bus stops the first few weeks of school, distribute cards, and help with lost or stolen cards.
Use the NexTrip feature or the Metro Transit app to get real-time updates on the location of your bus or train. Sign up for Rider Alerts to get email or text alerts about changes to your route.
