On Dec. 6, Route 725 will begin service.
Route 725 is a new bus route providing crosstown service along Jefferson Hwy., 85th Ave., and Springbrook Dr. connecting the cities of Osseo, Brooklyn Park, Coon Rapids, and Blaine.

Using smaller buses, Route 725 will connect customers to routes 705, 723, 724, and 764 at Starlite Transit Center and to routes 10, 25, 804, 805, 852 (future Route 827), 860, and Metro micro at Northtown Transit Center.
Route 725 will reduce commuting time between 85th Ave. in Brooklyn Park and Northtown Mall by approximately 1 hour while connecting customers to key destinations including:
- Downtown Osseo
- Hennepin Technical College
- Brooklyn Park Library
- North Hennepin Community College
- Springbrook Nature Center
- Starlite Transit Center
- Northtown Transit Center
Bus service will be available seven days a week from 6 a.m.- 10 p.m. and will run every 60 minutes, including holidays.
