Project funding partners
Metro Transit is the lead agency responsible for developing and eventually operating the METRO Purple Line. The project is being developed as a collaboration of public and private partners, who are working together to contribute funding, staff, technical skills, project oversight, and connections to communities along the corridor.
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is expect to provide half of the project's capital funding, with a Full Funding Grant Agreement anticipated to be awarded in 2024.
