Each station along the METRO Blue Line not only has public art but each architectural design team included an artist. This station was designed by:

A tree theme is reflected in this transparent station. Support beams have abstract tree-like branches and an oak tree image is screened onto the canopy glass to cast shadows on the pavement. The pavement is inlaid with cast bronze animals that inhabit nearby river flats. The station has a brown, pitched standing-seam metal roof. Posts and railings have metal pickets interwoven with vines and flowers. Trees are planted in the platform and nearby.

Sticks and Pickets (fence) by Deborah Mersky
Stainless steel fence running the length of the platforms. Imagery is to evoke home and includes tree and plant shapes, round button and bead shapes, oak leaf panels and picket fence.
