Speed & Reliability – Route 18
Route 18 is a local bus route providing service from Bloomington through downtown Minneapolis primarily along Nicollet Ave.
Metro Transit is partnering with the City of Minneapolis to speed up service on Route 18. Changes include:
- Consolidating bus stops for up to a quarter-mile spacing to increase trip reliability between Franklin Ave. and Hwy. 62.
- Frequency will be improved to every 10 minutes between roughly 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily between 66th St. & Nicollet and downtown Minneapolis.
