Your time means a lot to you; your satisfaction with Northstar is important to us. That’s why we’ve created a new program for Northstar customers.
Through the end of February, if any weekday Northstar trip (excluding special event trains) is 11 or more minutes late, your ride is on us. It’s that simple.

How it works
Use a Go-To Card or pass to pay your fare. If a train is 11 or more minutes late to either Target Field or Big Lake stations, we’ll send you a refund check for the fare based on your starting point. To be eligible for a refund, touch your Go-To Card or pass to a reader before you board a train.
If you take a pre-tax deduction for transit, this may affect your annual taxes. Please consult your tax preparer.
