The easy way to and from State Fair fun is on Metro Transit.
It’s also the inexpensive way, especially on weekends from the northwest suburbs.
Buy a Northstar Family Pass and your State Fair Express ride is included. A Family Pass is valid for roundtrip rides for two adults and three kids ages 6-17 (five and under ride free). Pass prices range from $11-$20 depending on station. That’s big savings over the regular price for five people. It’s HUGE when you add in the extra State Fair service.

Leaving Fridley Station
Give yourself plenty of time to return to Fridley Station for your trip home. Allow extra time from the fairgrounds, due to crowds and traffic congestion. Northstar trains are not able to wait for buses arriving from the State Fair.
