State Fair fun starts on Metro Transit

Make your plans now for an end-of-summer favorite – special bus service to the Minnesota State Fair.

From Thursday, Aug. 21, through Monday, Sept. 1, park for FREE at a State Fair Express parking lot and hop on a non-stop ride direct to the fairgrounds. Buses operate 8 a.m. to midnight.

• Brookdale Shopping Center
• I-394 & Co. Rd. 73 Park & Ride
• Dunwoody Institute – Minneapolis

Service every half hour

• Oakdale Center Park & Ride
• Signal Hills Shopping Center
• Cottage Grove Park & Ride
• Maple Grove Transit Station (weekends only)
• Maplewood Mall (weekends only)

Hop On Transit Day Wednesday, Aug. 27

Pay bus fare on a regular route or hop on a State Fair Express bus for just $3. You’ll get a coupon for $2 off a regular-priced fair admission ticket purchased at the gate.

Take State Fair Route 960

If you’re in downtown Minneapolis, getting to the State Fair is easy with State Fair Route 960. Hop on anywhere along Nicollet Mall. You’ll get to the fairgrounds in about 15 minutes.
