Use NexTrip for real-time trip information
With NexTrip, we’ll help you plan your trips down to the minute.
NexTrip is an easy way for you to get real-time bus departure information – you can access NexTrip online, by phone and at select transit stops.
Where to get NexTrip information
Online: Click on the tab next to the Quick Trip Planner on Metro Transit’s home page. You also can access NexTrip through mobile devices like iPhone.
When you’re online, just select your route, the direction you’re traveling and the closest bus stop or transit station. If there’s a bus coming in the next 20 minutes, NexTrip shows you the departure time in real time. NexTrip also gives scheduled departure times for buses coming after the 20-minute window.
Phone: Call 612-373-3333 for your NexTrip information. The system will announce real-time information for current trips and cite schedule times for later trips. To make it even more convenient, the phone system now has a voice recognition option so you can choose to speak selected commands rather than pressing buttons on your touch-tone phone.
Select transit stops: You can find NexTrip digital displays with real-time information at Uptown Transit Center and at the Park & Ride lots at I-394 & County Road 73 and Bottineau Boulevard & 63rd Avenue. Signs at more locations are coming soon!
