PUBLIC'S HELP NEEDED TO IDENTIFY MAN

MINNEAPOLIS – (Nov. 21) –Metro Transit Police asked for the public's help today in identifying a person who may have information about a theft aboard a bus this week. (See photo).

A blind customer reported that her backpack was stolen from a Route 94 bus in downtown Minneapolis at about 4 p.m. Tuesday. The backpack contained a Braille Note laptop computer valued at about $6,500. The specialized laptop is essential to the livelihood of the victim.

"We believe the man in the photo was aboard the bus and may have information that will help us solve this crime," said Transit Police Chief Dave Indrehus.
