TARGET ART HOP OFFERS FREE BUS RIDES TO THREE ART FAIRS ON AUG. 2 & 3

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL — (July 30) — Art lovers can visit the Uptown Art Fair, Loring Park Art Festival and Powderhorn Art Fair in air-conditioned comfort without worrying about parking or traffic. Fairgoers can hop on free Target Art Hop buses on Saturday, Aug. 2, and Sunday, Aug. 3, at any of the three art fairs or at the Lake Street/Midtown light-rail station.

Service begins each day at 10 a.m. Buses leave from each fair and the Lake Street/Midtown light-rail station about every 20 minutes. Service operates until 6 p.m. Saturday and until 5 p.m. on Sunday. Target Art Hop hosts will greet riders at each stop.

Target Art Hop is sponsored by Target Corporation and operated by Metro Transit.

Taking light-rail trains to Target Art Hop buses is an inexpensive and attractive option. There are approximately 2,800 free parking spaces near rail stations, including a new parking ramp at 28th Avenue Station. Maps and additional travel information are available here.
