About My Metro Transit

Find out about service changes before you get to your stop!

NEW! We'll send Rider Alerts to your desktop or mobile device

Sign up and we'll send notifications about significant transit disruptions, construction detours, weather-related delays and more. You choose the routes and whether you want to be notified by email or text message.

It's all part of My Metro Transit – a free service that gives you access to personalized Metro Transit information. To sign up, create a user name and password.

All it takes to get started is an email address and a password. Sign up, select the routes you use, provide an email address or mobile number and you'll begin receiving Rider Alerts when changes affect service on those routes.

Create a My Metro Transit account

Once you've logged in, revisit My Metro Transit from anywhere on the site. Simply click my metro transit button at the top of any page.

Other time-saving features at My Metro Transit:

Use it to customize your transit tools on a dashboard and arrange them how you like. It's easy to access all of this personalized information – at a glance:

My Go-To Card – Enter the 16-digit number from your card or pass to display your balance.

My NexTrips – Add your most-used stops for one-click access to NexTrip real-time departures.

My Trip Plans – Get a new trip plan, then see the lower right of the planner results page. Name your trips and save them to your dashboard.

My Routes and Rider Alerts – Add your favorite routes, see any detours that are active for those routes and get detailed route maps with just a click.

Facebook – See the latest posts from Metro Transit's Facebook page.

Twitter – Stay up-to-date with service alerts and other tips from our Twitter feed.

Metro Transit News – Find out about Metro Transit news, events and promotions.

Want to go beyond the basics?

Personalize your My Metro Transit dashboard to add the weather or even MnDOT traffic cameras. You can also sync your Metro Transit Trip Tracker account for a snapshot of the miles and greenhouse gas emissions you're reducing as well as the money you're saving by not driving alone.
