Worried about being stuck at work if you carpool, vanpool, bike, walk, or take transit? The Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program makes sure you’ll always have a way back when the unexpected happens.

How it works

Register once, and if you have an eligible emergency on a day you used an alternate commute, we’ll cover your ride home — fast, free, and reliable.

Why it matters

No more second‑guessing your choice to leave the car behind. GRH gives you peace of mind so you can save money, reduce stress, and still know you’ll get home when you need to.

Who can use it

Commuters traveling to work, school, or day‑long volunteer opportunities
Must use bus, train, bike, carpool, or vanpool at least three days a week
Solo drivers are not eligible

What you get

Up to four free rides per year (or $100 in value, whichever comes first)
Coverage for unplanned events like:
- Personal illness or medical emergency
- Sick child or dependent family emergency
- Unplanned overtime
- Carpool or vanpool not available

What’s not covered

Personal errands
Trips to airports or Greyhound stations (unless that’s your workplace)
Prescheduled appointments or events
Non‑commute travel
