Ridership
Route 19 ridership has grown since the route was extended. Customers have expressed a desire for the new service to continue in some form.
In summer 2008, approximately 60 customers boarded each weekday along Lake Drive and at Robbinsdale Transit Center. By fall 2008, this has grown to more than 100 weekday boardings.

Routing options
Metro Transit has worked with the MPRB and elected officials from the cities of Robbinsdale and Minneapolis to evaluate all routing options. It is important to retain a connection between downtown Minneapolis, the Victory neighborhood, eastern Robbinsdale and the Robbinsdale Transit Center – where connections can be made for travel throughout the northwest metro – including employment, medical and shopping destinations.
