Robbinsdale extension
Public comments
On Jan. 22, Metro Transit hosted a well-attended community meeting on the extension plan at Peace Lutheran Church in Robbinsdale.
At the meeting were representatives from the cities of Minneapolis and Robbinsdale and the Minneapolis Parks & Recreation Board, which oversees portions of Victory Memorial Parkway.
Metro Transit received comments from 322 people during the public comment period, which ended Jan. 30. Among these were nine letters, 14 calls to Customer Relations, 79 e-mail messages, 126 registered attendees at the Jan. 22 meeting and 145 petition signatures. Some residents submitted more than one comment.
