Robbinsdale extension
Project background
In late 2005 and early 2006, Metro Transit worked with community leaders and elected officials in 11 cities to develop the Northwest Metro Transit Restructuring Concept Plan. The Metropolitan Council in April 2006 approved the plan for public review.
During the public comment period (May-June 2006), Metro Transit received more than 1,000 comments. The largest number of comments came from a 600-signature petition in support of maintaining bus service to 42nd & York and developing east/west service to downtown Robbinsdale.
