If your group isn't large and will travel only by train, buying multiple passes at rail stations is easy. Choose from an Event 6-Hour Pass, Day Pass or Northstar Family Pass. Learn how to buy passes from a ticket machine.
One Ride Coupon
One Ride Coupons are valid for any ride with up to a $3.00 fare. Purchase One Ride Coupons if you are providing transportation for one or a few trips.

Tokens
Tokens are valid for local fare during non-rush hours. Tokens are sold in bags of 50 and must be fully subsidized by the distributor.

Day Pass
Day Passes are valid for unlimited rides with up to a $3.00 fare for 24 hours from time of purchase. A Day Pass must first be used on a bus, unless it is purchased from a rail ticket machine.

Event 6-Hour Pass
Event 6-Hour Passes are valid for six hours on any ride with up to a $2.25 fare. Event 6-Hour Passes are designed for use on light rail during special events and allow users to buy their round-trip ride in advance – no standing in ticket lines after the event. Purchase a Event 6-Hour Pass at rail ticket machines.

Northstar Roundtrip Family Pass
Northstar Roundtrip Family Passes provide roundtrip rides on Northstar trains for two adults and up to three kids ages 6-17 (ages five and under ride free). Family passes are sold at Northstar ticket machines (except Target Field Station) during hours of train service.
