Register a Carpool or Vanpool

Please review these guidelines for carpools before beginning the registration process.

You must register your carpool or vanpool to be eligible for free, preferential or reduced-rate parking. With each registration, you will have the option to enroll in the Guaranteed Ride Home program.

If your destination is within the Minneapolis Downtown Zone [map], begin your registration here.

If your destination is within the cities of Bloomington (except for federal employees at Norman Pointe II), Eden Prairie, Edina, Minnetonka or Richfield, begin registration here.

For all other destinations, please read these step-by-step instructions. Once you have read the instructions please begin registration here. NOTE: all members of the carpool must create an account before you can apply for a permit (each carpooler registers but only one per carpool applies for the permit).
