Coming in November – more options to hop on!

Regular Northstar Line service begins on Monday, Nov. 16. Here are more transportation choices that also start in November:

Hiawatha Line – Hiawatha Line service will extend to the new Target Field Station on Saturday, Nov. 14.

Note: Transfers from Northstar to buses and Hiawatha light-rail trains will be free. Transfers from buses and light-rail to Northstar trains will require an additional fare, which is automatically deducted from stored value on your Go-To Card, Metropass, U-Pass or Go-To College Pass.

Route 20 – This new shuttle service will connect with each weekday morning arrival and afternoon Northstar train departure. The route will serve the south end of downtown Minneapolis along 9th and 10th streets.

Route 811 – This new weekday route will serve Coon Rapids-Riverdale Station and neighborhoods along Round Lake and Bunker Lake boulevards and 38th, 7th, 9th and 119th avenues. The route, operated by Anoka Traveler, will connect with each southbound morning and northbound afternoon Northstar train.

Route 824 – Route 824 buses will be rerouted to directly serve Fridley Station. Buses will continue to travel to downtown Minneapolis.

Route 889 – This new route will provide an evening weekday trip to the Anoka and Coon Rapids stations. It will leave downtown Minneapolis at approximately 7 p.m.

Bus route changes will be effective Monday, Nov. 16. Get online schedules here. Additional route changes associated with the Northstar Line will be made in mid-December.
