Saddle up for your commute

Combine pedal power with transit

We make it easy for you to pedal for part of the way and take transit the rest. All Metro Transit buses and trains have free bicycle racks.

If you’re interested in bicycling regularly, sign up for Bike2Benefits. Just bicycle to work or to a transit stop once a week over eight weeks instead of driving alone – it’s that easy! Complete the program and you could win great prizes.

Here’s how Bike2Benefits works

Start by signing up here. We’ll ask you some basic registration information. Over eight weeks, track your trips and mileage. When you complete the program, you’ll be entered in our prize drawing.

Bike2Benefits is open to anyone 18 or older who lives and works in these counties: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott or Washington. There is no fee to participate.

Commute with pedal power – it’s good for you, your pocketbook and the environment.
