5. How do I transfer?

On some trips, you may have to take more than one bus or train to get where you're going. If you pay in cash, ask the bus driver for a transfer. It’s free and good for unlimited rides on buses or light rail for up to 2 1/2 hours, and valid for $1 toward a Northstar fare.

If you pay with a SuperSaver, 31-Day Pass or Stored Value Card, your transfer to another bus is also built in. If you're transferring to the train with a Stored Value Card, ask the bus driver for a rail-only transfer. 		If you pay with a single-ride ticket, your transfer is built right in. You can board unlimited buses or light-rail trains for up to 2 1/2 hours.

Transfers from Northstar to a bus or light rail are free. Transfers from a bus or light rail to Northstar require an additional fare.
