If you are still looking for strategies to help commuters adjust, Metro Transit and your local transportation management organization (TMO) can help! Consider any of these tools to get started: Transit pass options. Enhance your employee benefits package with the addition of a transit pass such as Metropass or TransitWorks! Ridematching. Arranging or joining a carpool or vanpool is easy. Your employees can pool their traveling resources with others interested in sharing the ride. Sign up is easy at this web page. Also consider NuRide, a web-based rideshare program that rewards commuters for sharing rides. Commuter fairs. Representatives from Metro Transit or your local TMO can come to your worksite, armed with information on available commuting options. New-Rider Packet. Order a complimentary packet, which includes a How-to-Ride Guide, bus and train schedules and other helpful information. Here’s another incentive to get your employees to share the ride! Employers served by Anoka County TMO and 494 Commuter Services can participate in Rideshare to Work Week on Oct. 1-5.
