One TMO to serve all of St. Paul
St. Paul now has a new Transportation Management Organization (TMO) to serve businesses and residents of the entire city.
The Midway TMO and the downtown St. Paul TMO merged earlier this month to form St. Paul Smart Trips.
Like its predecessors, St. Paul Smart Trips, which is housed at 55 East 5th Street in downtown, will continue to work with local businesses and reach out to neighborhoods. It will help residents add transportation options to their commutes to work and for personal trips.
The first undertaking of the new organization was the launch of a program called “Smart Trips Summit-U.” Participants in the program will receive regular newsletters and be invited to a variety of events including bike rides, guided walks and classes. The program targets the Summit-University neighborhood of St. Paul in its first year, and additional neighborhoods may be added later.
