NuRide

Rideshare program provides perks for commuters

Commuters in the Twin Cities now have a new tool to help battle congestion. NuRide – a web-based rideshare program – rewards users for sharing rides. It’s free and easy to join!

Sign up at nuride.com and provide a work e-mail address that the NuRide system verifies. Once a trip is planned, users can find others going in the same direction to share a ride for a casual trip or a regular commute.

NuRide users can earn reward points – redeemed for special offers from corporate sponsors – for every confirmed ridesharing trip. Points can be used for gift cards, gift certificates and other rewards.

The St. Paul TMO has partnered with NuRide to launch the service in the Twin Cities area, and the TMO is working closely with local companies to promote the service to employees. Anyone who lives or works in the seven-county metro area and has an e-mail address with a major organization – either work or school – can participate.

For details, visit nuride.com. To schedule a presentation to show employees how the program works, contact the St. Paul TMO.
