Central-South Final Plan
Metro Transit restructured bus service in the "Central-South" area of the region (south Minneapolis, Bloomington, Richfield, Edina and St. Paul south of I-94 and west of downtown) in 2004. Phase I in south Minneapolis was launched in June 2004; Phase II changes were made in December 2004.
Changes were made to improve the reliability, speed and convenience of transit service. The plan also integrated buses with Hiawatha light-rail.
An original plan was revised as a result of customer comments at public meetings. The Metropolitan Council approved the final plan in June 2003.
