Committees

Four committees provide input and direction for the Gold Line BRT Project, which is led by the Metropolitan Council in collaboration with the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Washington County, Ramsey County and the five cities along the route.

  • Corridor Management Committee (CMC)
  • Community and Business Advisory Committee (CBAC)
  • Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)
  • Executive Change Control Board (ECCB)

Executive Change Control Board

The Executive Change Control Board (ECCB) ensures orderly and appropriate coordination of significant changes to the project cost, including the use of project cost contingency budget. Meetings will be held in-person at the Gold Line Project Office - 121 7th Place East, Suite 102, St. Paul, MN 55101.

Corridor Management Committee

The Corridor Management Committee (CMC) is made up of elected officials and community leaders who are appointed by the Chair of the Metropolitan Council to advise the Metropolitan Council, Ramsey County and Washington County on the design and construction of the Gold Line BRT project. The CMC uses technical and community input to leverage opportunities and address issues throughout each stage of the proposed project including environmental review, preliminary design, final design, and construction.

All CMC meetings are open to the public. Agendas will be posted to the website before each meeting and meeting minutes will be posted following the CMC meeting. Contact Liz Jones at: [email protected] or 651-602-1977 with questions.

Meetings will be held in the Metropolitan Council Chambers in downtown St. Paul at 390 Robert St. N., St. Paul, MN 55101.

Community and Business Advisory Committee

The Community and Business Advisory Committee (CBAC) is comprised of local residents and businesses along the Gold Line who advise the Metropolitan Council on how stations can best serve the neighborhoods and businesses where they are located. The committee also provides the community perspective on the overall project design. CBAC members were selected through an application process and represent community and business perspectives at each of the project's station areas.

Technical Advisory Committee

The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) reviews project plans and designs, provides technical guidance and assists in the resolution of technical issues. Members represent the interests of their respective agencies and provide technical guidance to the CMC and CBAC on issues including, but not limited to, design, engineering, construction and operation of the Gold Line.

The TAC includes staff representatives from:
