Ride free on the Metro Transit Art Hop
Minneapolis will host three art fairs the first weekend in August. Visit them all in air-conditioned comfort on the FREE Metro Transit Art Hop.
On Saturday, Aug. 7, and Sunday, Aug. 8, you can ride free between the Loring Park Art Festival, Uptown Art Fair, Powderhorn Art Fair and the Lake Street/Midtown light-rail station – avoid the hassles and expenses of driving and parking!
Hop on a FREE Metro Transit Art Hop bus at any fair or at Lake Street and Hiawatha Avenue, next to Lake Street/Midtown Station. Art Hop buses leave each stop about every 20 minutes.
Metro Transit Art Hop service:
Saturday, Aug. 7, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 8, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Metro Transit Art Hop buses travel in a circuit, visiting all three fairs before returning to Lake Street & Hiawatha Avenue. Note: Buses stop at locations in the order listed below. Travel time between each stop is roughly 15 minutes. Volunteers are available at each stop to assist you.
