Detours & Alerts

Beginning on Saturday, March 3, several route and schedule changes will take effect on Route 6 south of Southdale Shopping Center.

• • Route 6 buses leaving the E/F terminal at Minnesota Drive or the K terminal at Picture Drive will follow a new route from 76^th St. to Parklawn Ave.

• • Buses traveling north to Southdale will no longer follow France Ave. Instead they will serve stops along 76^th St. and Parklawn Ave. to Gallagher Drive.

• • The bus stop on westbound Parklawn Ave. between France Ave. and Gallagher Drive will be closed.
•  
• • Route 6E and 6F buses traveling south toward Minnesota Drive will now stop on southbound France Ave. before crossing 76^th St., then go directly to Minnesota Drive.

• • The route on Gallagher Drive, France Ave., Hazelton Rd. and York Ave. will not change.
•  
• • Due to the revised routing, there will be many schedule changes. Please refer to updated Route 6 schedules, available now on buses and at metrotransit.org.
